Oh, I didn't realize I was doing that one. I was working on the multi-logo one. Might be easier just for him to simply put in a more standard logo, as it'll take me awhile to get all those cars like he has it.

 

I must be tired too because I missed the important part of where the winner gets to go on a two week holiday??

 

Sorry, I haven't been able to do anything. I was working on that one but my PC is giving me a hard time. I've been going back and forth with a guy at Microsoft for a week and we're getting it fixed. I was working on the lettering and getting the rocket and new swoosh rocket in.

I like the other banner too.

Regarding the other one and putting a rocket logo. From a design dimension standpoint, I can tell you now that it isn't going to work due to the dimensions of the logo vs. the dimensions of the banner. On one hand, you have a purely vertical logo, with a purely horizontal banner. Look at how small I had to make those rocket logos to fit within the size of the banner? You'd have a diminutive logo behind a monstrous (in comparison) site name. You can give it a shot, but I don't think it's going to work well. The Globe logo works well as it's more horizontal in dimension.

 

I think it is time to take the finalists and set up a polling thread to allow the members to vote. I have seen at least two which I like myself. It may be hard to decide but it is time to move on with this and get ourselves a new banner.

The cars looked too cluttered so I had to junk a few.
I was messing with Rob's wheels in photoshop just before his one almost fell off...weird.
Like a voodoo doll or something, I'll stick a virtual pin in the tire and see if it goes flat next.

I like the banner that's up there now myself.
