New Hurst owner

Hi there folks, first off thanks in advance for all information I will be provided from you all. Where should I start racking your brains?
I wanted a 1983 hurst olds since high school(long time ago). Well few months ago I found one in a heated warehouse packed away for over 13 yrs, it has 36k miles. Needs minor stuff.

Where can I find the rear trunk decal, the red circle decal for the rims, and the brushs like part that belongs between the shifter.

well thats good for now. Thanks for your time,Joe in Connecticut

I have just recently acquired one. Mine is mostly intact except the engine plumping. I'm putting it back original. Can you send photos of the engine compartment with out the air cleaner on detailing vaccum line/ emissions/carb/smog/cruise/ect ? I What I've read I think the red is paint?

I believe the best match to the wheel stripe is going to be Tomato Red. The trunk decal is reproduced by a couple of places. Google it or search ebay. I know Phoenix makes them and their might be another company licensed by GM to reproduce these. I dont know who makes the best match.

I just acquired my 83 HO as well. 53,000 miles and was in CT all its life.

Luke (83hurstguy) seems to have a lot of knowledge about the 83's. Maybe he will chime in.
