4spd interchange
The bellhousing bolt pattern for the blocks will be different. If you already have an Olds bellhousing you should be OK. I think, and someone else should confirm this for you, that the transmission to bellhousing bolt pattern is the same.
if it already a 4 speed car it is a piece of cake, if it's am automatic you will need to drill out the crank for a piolet bushing. Not dificult or expensive, except you will have to remove the crank. I built a divice that bolts to be bell housing and centers a drill bit into the end of the crank, but unless you know a competent fabricator to make fit prfectly, I wouldn't recommend it.
in that case, yes it will bolt right in. you will have a little extra speedo cable. you should be able to loop it over the transmission case. the M 20 has a lower first gear in it. makes good launches.
