refreshed 350

hey guys, i was going to rebuild my motor and put a 22-25-10 cam, ect., ect. but im left with almost no money after bodywork so im left with keepping it very mild. i have a couple of questions so please be positive and thank you.
1. can comp ratio be upped by a simple head gasket change if so how ?
2. what torquey mild cam can i use with stock comp ?

1. Assuming the heads have never been off, it is not likely you will find a thinner gasket than you already have.

2. Check with any of the engine builders, or cam grinders, about an RV (motor home) cam that will fit your application. Power band is shifted downward, increasing lower end power and decreasing top end.

The 22-25 cam will do the opposite.

Better to wait until you have the cash to do it right the first time.

Agreed.

If I had done it right the first time, I would have spent $2,000 less and had the car I wanted
