Question Info on '69 Hurst Olds For Sale

Hey all,
A friend called me up thinking I may know about the Hurst Olds because I have a Vista Cruiser.
He was looking at this car at the library online (no PC at home) and wanted to know if I thought it was worth it for one, and also asked about the left rear frame and if it is bent or supposed to be like that? (pics of it are in the photobucket link on the page)

It looks bent to me but could be normal, I really don't know anything about the cars and told him I would ask the experts here on the new forum.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanks,
Allan

The frame rail does look funny, but that may just be the angle of the photo. I'd be more concerned that except for the OH trans, all the expensive H/O parts are missing - D heads (it's a non-A/C car), correct dual gate and console (that's a GTO console and shifter), air cleaner and adapter, outside mirrors...

You'll easily spend $5K and a couple of years chasing all that stuff down.

Thanks for the replies and will let him know, I'm sure he will be most appreciative.
Maybe he should look for something a litle more finished or complete. The guy isn't a real hands-on car guy and may get in way over his head but can afford to pay people to do it.
I should have been a plumber.
