Damn fine '69!
Boy this is nice. Really like the combo of the paint color, inside color and the dog dish wheels. Then again, I like pretty much anything with the dog dish wheels.

It would appear [if this info is correct] the bench seat credit is $68.46 [I remember it being discussed in another thread]

Now, the car is beautiful... but.....
Why do you go through all the trouble to do a chalk-mark resto, then put a Flowmaster exhaust on it? The chalk marks are only there to earn points in OCA judging, but the exhaust will get you thrown out.
Why do you put an aftermarket steering wheel on the car and then install the horn button with the (80s vintage) rocket logo upside down? Considering that asking price on this car must be WELL into the mid-five figure range, that's a pretty obvious oversight. (Rule of thumb - asking price is proportional to the number of photos in the ad)
The VIN derivative stamp on the frame is beautiful. A little TOO beautiful, if you catch my drift.
And finally, once again, rarity doesn't necessarily equal desirability. Post coupes with bench seat and four speeds are rare because no one wanted them when they were new.

Yes, though of course that is a reprinted repro window sticker. I missed where it talked about the clutch. Of course, the 1971 W-30s had an optional W-37 dual plate clutch.

I am to cheap to buy a car that is in the range this car will go for. On the other hand I can build a car that will sell for as much as this one will sell for and it will cost me half as much, and the building will be more fun plus I will drive it which most collector won't do

That is really an attractive car and done up very nicely but it just shows to what lengths people will go to "make something up". Of course, they wouldn't do it if there wasn't money to be made and some sucker to pay the asking price (or close to it). In the end someone with enough money will buy it and be happy with it. Well, at least until he finds out about the upside down horn button.
