Your VIN has to say 34467--------- to be a 442 convertible. That being said, the car you are looking at is not worth as much (appraisal wise anyway). In addition, a true 70 442 did not come with "deck lid markings". The only stripes are on the fiberglass hood. The W-30 has side stripes.
You don't need a build sheet to verify a 70 442's authenticity. It only came with a 455, nothing else. Most came with the Hurst dual gate, but you could still order the column if you wanted.
