wow.. a bed in the back, that could be considered a pickup bed if it has velvet sheets and a disco ball hanging from the headliner!!

Bed in the back? Hopefully the seat or seats are just folded down with something over them.
If it only has that many miles and is all there and clean and not beat to death it may not be a bad deal, the dreaded roof and side window rust is the downfall of most Vista Cruisers. Depends on if it was butchered for hauling hay or ladders and paint around, or was just some guy living in the back parked "down by the river".

Not that I am aware of, but I've always wanted to convert a Vista [69 of course] into a 4X4 pickem up

What...Like that Calais bronco Frankenstein thing?!?! MY GOD MAN! That is sacrilegious! Kill a perfectly good vista like that, MAN YOU NEED YOUR HEAD EXAMINED!!! Speaking of destroying cars, I have had this idea of grafting the s model quarters onto a 70/72 cutlass rag. I don't know why, but if done right I think it would look a hell of a lot better, but that's just my op onion. or pungent thought. I know shoot me now.

Sorry Nope, Mine is like Ensign George Gay the "Sole Survivor"

Sorry my trivia brain kicked in, He [ George Gay] was the sole survivor of the first wave of attack at the Battle of Midway. His torpedo bomber [Devastator] ditched and he wrote a book title "Sole Survivor."
He's kinda a local hero. [probably more than you wish to know]

I thought so too, but grafting one onto a perfectly good car gives me the *******. I imagine it would make for a sharp ride though, or at least unique. I would have to be in a much better place financially to even consider something like that. If a fella could come across a clean bone yard find though

I was trying to put a Mach One fender and scoop on a regular Mustang convertible and ran into a lot of blocks. Like window mechanism. The fit to other sections was off also. I gave up ...

A lot of research would be required before I started something like that. I think the whole profile in the trunk area is different. Common with the 4 door I think. I don't even know about windows and side panels. Still think it would be sharp, if it was done right.

That's not trivia; that's common knowledge--- for anyone who's seen the movie 'Midway' about 100 times!!

Kind of off topic but here goes. My brother in law (married to my wife's sister) is named Ron Gay. The stopped reserving tables at restaurants, at least with their name. The got tired of the host hollering out "GAY, Party of two".

I know of one in salvage I was looking at a while back. I am planning on asking him how much he would sell the whole car for, but he is high on his prices, so it is probably going to be outa normal price range!

While a little off-topic, this brought back memories of a car at Fall Carlisle. This was a 56 Chevy, low miles, totally gorgeous, and a tree had fallen on the garage that the car was stored in. The car was pretty much totalled. He was trying to sell it for parts. What a shame.
