Wheel/Tire set up. Will they clear?

I Have a 1969 442 and want to swap out the rear wheels and tires. I think I've done most of the math correct but want any opinions before I pull the trigger on the purchase. Here is the set up I want to use:

Wheels: 15x8, 5x4.75 bolt pattern, 4.25 backspace, -6 offset,

Tires: 275/60/15

My questions are two fold:
Will the wheels clear?
Will the tires rub?

If you feel the tires are oversized will 255/60/15 do the trick?

Thanks in advance

personally I like the 275-60 it fills the fenderwell up nice. Do you have a wheel you can try. I think I have used 4.5" backspace Welds before with that tire

I put the exact same specs for tires and rims on the rear of my 69 Cutlass S today and they fit just fine. No rubbing at all.

Thanks Raven. Assuming you've had no issues or did any mods, I'd say my question's answered.
