69 442 Fender Stipes
The 69 442 my wife and I ordered in 69 came with fender stripes - I didn't remember ordering them, but there they were. I didn't like them.
The 69 442 I'm building now is going to be a duplicate of that original 442. My question is: Why did I get stripes? Were they 'standard' with some combination I ordered? As far as I know, they were decals (about 3/8" wide from a point just back of the headlight to I guess the end of the fender - memory isn't so good). I'm temped to forget them for this car - may be too much bother. If I do add them, I'd want them painted - not decals. Any thoughts would be appreciated. |
