Covertible top
I am starting from scratch installing my folding top mechanism. Could anybody let me know approx. where there control link bolt (the bolt with serrated washer and vertical serrated slot) is adjusted. I Fisher book says that this adjustment raises or lowers the side frame adjustment to the windows, which is another story for trying to adjust. I am trying to get the top to operate without binding or needing help to open or fold. when raising, since there's no material, the top needs a little help to get started. When lowering, It seems to start to lift, but needs a little help in starting the first pivot back from the header bow. I hope this control link adjustment should help this situation since it seems to act like a fulcrum in the folding procedure.
Thanks

Sorry,
I can't help ya. This is one area where I go to someone who has done it a few thousand times and knows what they're doing. I have found I can fiddle with these things for days and not make any progress. I'd be better off flipping burgers at Micky D's by the hour and just pay someone.

Can you clarify where the exact location of this bolt? Is it closer to the front bow or is it in the back, etc. I'll try to look at my convertible. I also have a loose convertible frame that I can look at.
