1968 442 build sheet question

The build sheets that have been found on top of the gas tank, was it between the gas tank and rubber mat or was it between the rubber mat and the car?

Hi Dan1s,
I don't know about 442s but the build sheet for my 1970 GTO (Fremont CA car) was between the gas tank and the pad. I've got 2 442s, a '68 built in Lansing and a '69 built in Fremont - neither had the build sheet above the gas tank.

Well, dropped the tank. Found nothing!!!! but I did find numbers on the frame. I still have some more places to look for it in the car.

Thanks, Dan

Cool Secrets

If you are looking for build sheets, try behind the front seat backs and then under the rear seat and the back of the rear backrest...
