How 2 Replace Dash Lites

Just got a 68 and have to put in new lites for the speedometer, etc. How in the world do you get to the back of the instrument pods????? My hand won't fit back there. Is there a secret to changing the bulbs???? Jim.

Got out the bulbs

Posted same question of 442.com and had a couple guys tell me the same thing. Have to reach under dash, lying on back with legs everywhichway and blind feel way to them. Got all out but one. Now have to feel my way back up there and reinsert all new ones. Tough, exhausting work--hope the neighbors didn't hear any of my comments while doing it. Jim.

I have done that before. Now I can hardly get upside down that way any more. My back KILLS me! But you are right, that is about the only way to get to them.
