Once I had her back together she fired up without a problem.Ran for 30 to 40 seconds and stopped.
I have not been able to get her to fire since then.I have replaced the Points ,Condensor ,Coil ,Coil Condensor.The Engine Harness and the Alternator.
I may have mis connected the coil wires when I re assembled the engine.
I am in the process of replacing the ignition switch in hopes of getting her back on the road.I have checked and it seems there isnt any power going to the coil.
Anyone out there have any suggestions.I am running out of Money ,Scotch and Hair

First, coil wiring is easy. Distributor (and tach, if equipped) wires go to the "-" side of the coil. Power wires go to the "+" side.
Before you replace anything, try one simple test. Disconnect the power wires to the + side of the coil and run a wire directly from the + side of the battery to the + side of the coil. Be sure to include a toggle switch in this wire so you can turn the engine off. Now turn that switch on and try to start the car. If the engine runs, the problem is somewhere in the wires from the ignition switch to the coil. If it does not run, the problem is in the ignition system. If it does not run, check to see if you at least get spark from the coil wire. If you do, timing is probably off. If not, check to be sure the dwell on the points hasn't shifted. Also, since it ran briefly then stopped, your new condenser may be bad. It happens.
