My 1971 cutlass supreme convertible has a white top and I can't seem to get the black scuffs off it from the support bracket areas when it is down Any ideas?? Should I have something in the "pocket" area to prevent that from reoccurring?

Also does anyone know if there is a specific way to store the boot? This is all new to me and I am greatful for any info you can share.
