I've got an RM interior paint chip set for 1966 GM cars. I bought it on ebay and it's several pages. Took it to two different PPG suppliers. (yeah I know it's RM) Both places thought it was cool and asked where I got it. But it didn't help get the paint I wanted. I don't remember the exact conversation but it didn't sound like it would have helped if it was PPG. Something like the paint chip code just references a mixing formula. And they need the formula to mix the paint.
One of the shops does have a color scanner but they needed about a 2" X 2" sample. And the scanner only gives codes for top of the line base coat clear coat paint. But not for the gloss. So then I'd need to add flattener to the clear. Trial and error to get the right mix on that.

My 66 Jetstar 88 has Bronze interior. So I've got semi-gloss bronze on the dash, flat maroon on the headliner trim plus one other color I don't remember. So if anyone figures this out I'd be happy to hear about it.
One thing the paint chip did tell me: Chevy & Olds interior colors cross. And a lot more Chevy's get restored. So asking on a Chevy site might help. But it was 6 months ago when I was looking into this. And searches on several Chevy/Chevelle sites didn't turn up anything.
