I'd say 75% of the fluid will stay in the converter. You can't really get most of the fluid out of it without drilling a hole in it and pop riveting it back shut after you drain it. If you just drop the pan, I'd guess only 4 or 5 quarts will come out. The whole system won't ever drain out all the way because there are so many little channels that fluid sits in.
