I need to rebuild '62 Starfire differential

I am helping my son with his restoration of a 1962 Starfire. I am looking for a source for rebuild parts and/or an exchange 3rd member for it. I want to upgrade it to a posi if it isn't crazy expensive to do it. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I am going to make this EXTREMELY easy for you...go to Ebay and there a company called fabcraft that supplies NEW parts for the '57 thru '64 Olds / Pontiac rears..Not parts that have been laying around for 40 + years, but NEW parts. The posi rear ends are getting some stupid amounts of money these days, so unless you got 500+ dollars to spend just for the posi pumpkin , I'd go with the rebuild kit.

Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the lead on the parts. I'll get on eBay and look them up.

From: Richfield, Oh
posi for the 9.3

No one sells aftermarket posi units for the 9.3 drop out olds or pontiac. I know Brad at fabcraft too. good guy. Used is the best your gonna get.

I saw a third member sell for 1000.00 on ebay 3.23 posi rear. OUCH!

Fabcraft does have the gears. We need a POSI!

They have spools but that is really not streetable. LOCKs both rear axle shaft solid NO SLIP.
