Early model 8.5 10 bolt posi with a 3:42 gear ratio. 55.5 inches backplate to backplate and about 63 inches overall. Complete drum to drum. It is a direct bolt in for any 78-88 G-body. It has modified, welded on shock mounts. Looks like the originals were removed to clear the swaybar. Otherwise all the mounts and perches are in the correct positions. It still had the original 78 Regal control arms and swaybar which are already SOLD. So it bolts right in without any modifcations. I do have some pics. I feel the new price is more then fair considering it is still an 8.5, 3:42 posi rear end and will bolt right in. Other then being a little wider then the G/N rear it`s basicly the same.
