I am in the process of rebuilding a late 70's 350 and in need of a replacement front cover. The original is deeply pitted and I don't want to use a tube of gasket sealer to seal up water pump. Any info on a good aftermarket would be great!

Gasket is Mr gasket #783G If I remember correctly.

 

Year one has them, about 40 bucks i think.

 

I ordered a front cover yesterday from gmpartsdirect.com part #22525282 . thats all i can say till i get the part. hope this helps, Tony

 

ANY 64-90 Olds front cover will work. They're all the same.

 

Supercars Unlimited has them, $53 iirc.
