68 Cutlass Convertible Front fender Inner Brace

Hi!

Does anyone know of where I can find the inner fender braces for a 68 Cutlass S convertible? These are the braces that support and hold the bottom of the fender to the frame in front of the doors. I'm in need of the driver side especially but would also replace the one on the passenger fender if available. Or is this something that I need to fab myself?

Any help would be appreciate since I can't seem to locate these at any of the online part places.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

I had to fabricate mine out of very heavy sheet metal. They rusted out along with the bottom rear of the fender. I welded in patch panels from year one. It looked good from the outside and was functional although not pretty underneath. No one could see it however.

They are not available aftermarket you have to fab them yourself.

Thanks, Awningman67 and Droldsrx.

I was hoping that wasn't the case but I've already started fabbing replacements. Once again, thanks for the replies.
