FOR SALE: Low Mileage '68 442

Due to parental dumb-ness and financial need, I am being forced to seel my beloved 1968 Oldsmobile 442 Holiday Coupe.

-400 CID Olds V-8 (2nd Gen 400)
-Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor (replaces from original)
-Aluminum intake from 1970 Olds 442 W-30
-Advance camshaft (not installed by me, so I would have to check the exact lobe size)
-Electronic Ignition (Not box type)
-Full engine rebuild right before I purchased the car
-Turbo Hydramatic 400 Transmission (rebuilt)
-Positraction differential, low 3 gearing (can't remember exactly)
-Custom Royalish Metallic Blue w/ Gold and Silver flake (1 gallon of custom paint comes with car) with white vinyl top

-83000 ORIGINAL MILES (was in storage for a number of years)

I have owned the car for three years, and have been forced by the powers that be to let it go. I would love to see it go to a good home. If you are interested, please e-mail me.

Where is the car and how much are you asking?

And yet.... The post is still six years old.

There's something to be said for optimism.

Andy, you were banned for before and I was one that spoke up to give you a second chance. Looks like you've not changed after all......

look, you do what you have to do.

bringing up a 6 year old topic to ask a stupid question is just plain ignorant.

Andy, you can make a point without being a Jerk. We're here to help and support each other. NOT belittle, put down, flame others... all the behavior you demonstrated in the past. I thought everyone deserved a second chance, and its been a while since you caused problems here. SO as you say, as a moderator I'm doing what I have to do. John

Yes it is 6 years old. We all have replied (or soon will) to an old post accidently as they DO come up in searches. Telling someone it is old is fine. However, adding in a picture or text that flames the heck out of someone is a direct violation of the rules and is subject to infraction.
