If you end up having the heads done in a machine shop be sure to get some good positive seal type valve seals put on. The OEM style umbrella seals work fine until they age five or ten years and break, that's when you start burning oil on startups. You won't regret paying for the valve jobs and while you are at it make sure they put hardened valve seats on the exhaust ports of the heads so they will last.
