The F block is stamped 34Exxxxxx F7 (1974 Delta 88)
The FA block is stamped L4ExxxxxG F7 (1975 boat)
F block does have mounting hole for clutch "Z" bar ball with A/T flywheel and crank.
Marine FA does not, but has M/T flywheel and crank.
I know of others with 74 F blocks, as well.
I didn't check Julian date codes, but I suspect the F may be early production, and the FA to be late production due to being in a 75 model boat.
