thanks for the tips. and yes i did paint the tailight inserts black, along with the grills and all the trim around the front and back windows. shaved trunk and passanger side locks, shaved side mirror, and shaved emblems, all except the rocket up front. and as far as the brown on the engine..... i was gonna do that with the block but then i thought, you know the gold engine pretty much says olds rocket you know. so i wanted to try to go with that and keep it original along with the interior of the car. for the valve covers i got the old ones with the oldsmobile raised aluminum print and those will be powdercoated. i am still looking for an original 4brl aircleaner that i can get powdercoated to top it off. but hey thanks, i like the way you think bro! -peace -Lee
