It is a convertible, so it will always have some appeal to someone.

But, alot of folks that know these cars are kind of afraid of them. The motors can have timing chain trouble and those parts are getting hard to come by. GM has started discontinuing items for this motor. They've also started discontinuing convertible top parts and weatherstrips. Another motor issue is the oil pump drive o-ring. These are leakers on many GM V6s, but on the DOHC motors, it requires removing the head. A third black mark is alternator replacement. They have to come out the bottom and can be quite a job to replace.

But you'll always finds someone who wants a convertible, regardless.
