1954 oldsmobile rocket 88 $3950
Original engine: VIN #V320534 Data Tag: 548M68265 -- 4 barrel carb 324 V8, Auto 3 speed, 4-dr sedan.
Original dash with original high-beam detector, good transmission, brakes rebuilt, seats original and badly worn, headliner started but not finished, gas tank removed and a temporary gas tank put on so you can hear it run and drive it. The original gas tank still available but rusted through but we are checking into having one made.
This classic Oldsmobile Rocket 88 has all the chrome and emblems and hood ornaments. Original hubcaps.
There is a chrome glove box in the dash and an extra one laying in the trunk plus an extra set of the two narrow ashtrays that fit on each side of the glove box.
Solid body throughout, even in the trunk. This car has everything a restorer needs to create a beautiful all stock original 1954 Olds 88.

That serial number says it's a Super 88. You should sell it as such, not just as an "88". The plain 88, 547Xnnnn, had valve covers that said "Oldsmobile Rocket" on them, right? Does "Rocket" mean "Super" to Olds guys?
It's too much money and too good a car to be a parts car (and it should not be destroyed make another 88 better anyway).
I hope this car finds a good home.

Welcome to the site
I did not read this one the first time around.
Engine #, not the VIN.
This is the VIN. As noted above "it is a '54 Super 88" and the term "Rocket" has nothing to do with anything.
As did all Super 88 and 98s. All 88s were 2 barrel.
If it has/had a 3 speed it is not original. From '40 through '60, with one exception, ('53 Olds Dynaflow) all automatics were 4 speeds.
