Hey now, The 260 has more potential than a boat anchor. I believe I had one in my 82 cutlass. It was a 400 dollar car that is still running today with about 197000 on it. Bone stock. I gave it to my buddy's dad (a retired mechanic) for a project car to mess with some years back. It's in Yuma Tennessee at the moment towing trailers of hay for a cattle ranch.
