I'm new here so I am by no means trying to give advice, I just saw something kind of relative to your needs, thought it was funny and thought I'd share. We have a friend with a '57 Fairlane he has been restoring for around 9 years. The motor has been his biggest part of the project (other than the body, but who wants to do body work?). Last week we were over there having a gander and happened to notice an unusual accessory in the engine compartment. He has used (for a radiator overflow) a magnum sized Miller Lite beer can! He even clear-coated it to keep it from rusting. I kid you not! Now is that creative, recycling, or just crazy! eh, I guess its a temporary option?
