Greetings to all and thanks for a great site and sharing your knowledge.
My name is Brian, I'm 45 and live in beautiful Oregon (Oregon City Area). I'm fairly new to the site and probably have too many posts and questions but I thurst for knowledge. I'm married with three kids (one getting married in August) and two dogs. I love to hunt, fish and work with my hands. I came to Oregon by way of South Dakota, Montana, Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana. I can tell you this, there is no better place in the world to live than Oregon (just don't tell the Californians

). I bought a 1965 F-85 Cutlass for $500.00 from a freind as a project for my 16 year old son and I. I figured it would be good for him to understand how things work and since he's about to become a young man, the experiance and bonding is needed. The attraction to the car was the square lines and the fact that we have all the glass, chrome and the body is perfectly straight (no body work or dents). It has no interior except old torn seats and the motor and tranny were basically shot. We found a 425 in Montana that we've rebuilt and improved, bought a fresh TH350 and are now getting close to the interior. All in all it's been a very rewarding experiance (especially when the motor actually started!). I come from meager beginings, didn't go to college and started my career as a janitor and then welder in a railcar repair facility. I'm currently in charge of the commercial organization for one of the largest railcar manufacturers in NA and feel blessed. The sole purpose of this venture was to instill into my son the same sense of hard work and accomplishment that we were all taught as young individuals. Along the way, I've become a hard core, died in the wool Olds maniac. I can't wait to get this one done so that I can move onto a rag top 71 442 (which by the way, does anyone know where I can get one?). Thanks for knowledge, expertise and time!
