Was the entire wheel painted the same color as the car or just the outside face and the edge next to the tire?

Tom,Are you referring to the hub cap or the steel rim because as far as I know the rim is black with steel inserts in the five gaps.The hub cap is painted to match the car but can also be painted to match other colors depending on the option list.

Thanks, yes I am inquiring about the rim. There is only about a 1/4" of rim that shows with the wheel cover on. I was wondering about the backside of the rim.

 

Hi Tom,as far as I can tell the whole rim was painted black,front,back and where the tire goes.The whole rim was painted a gloss black and then the tire was installed and the weights for balancing were installed.Whether you had the hub caps with the clips or the push on type the rim was the same.
