66 F-85 Deluxe

66 F-85 for sale. Would make an excellent restoration project. This car was nearly perfect when I got it 15 years ago. Since then, the motor (330) was rebuilt and so was the transmission. For the last several years, the car has sat under my carport in central NC. I run the engine once a month or so and usually put in a couple gallons of fresh gas when doing so. On a trip several years ago, the axle broke and the wheel dented the quarter panel. I simply lost interest in this car after that. I have installed a new axle and driven the car since, but honestly, the car is not what it use to be and I would love to see someone restore this fine automobile. I have been holding it all this time thinking I would one day have the money to do the job myself, but this day is just not seeming to come near me. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have and I will do my best to answer them. I am asking $3900 for this car. This price alone is what I have invested in the engine and transmission alone. Email me at steve@stonebrothers.com

sounds like a fair price - you should post some pictures on this site that will help with the interest.

Where are you located in NC? I would like to take a look. I am in Southport but travel west to Raleigh a couple times a month.
