'72 Olds factory tire size advice

I have a 72 cutlass that that is going to be getting some new tires this winter and not for sure what would look best. i have 15x7 olds rally wheels for it because i love the stock stance and ride height. i am really trying to get the original stance and look, but with modern tires. for the rears maybe 235/60/r15 BF gforce drag radial 2s, and the fronts probably just radial t/a's. any pictures would be great, i know what look i am going for i just dont know my tire sizes that well, don't know what profile looks best, and i dont want super skinnies up front but just a tad narrower than the rear, with the sidewals being proportional if that means getting a slightly smaller sidewall up front or not. everyone i ask tells me to rake the front end and get cragers instead of 'those stock ones'....anyways some advice would be greatly appreciated and would save another cutlass from recieving 24's.

I have 245 60R15 BFG Radial T/A on the SSIII wheel. The size on the 15 inch rim equates to the same size as the original taller sidewall on the 14 inch rim. Gives you stock ride height with the factory look in the bigger wheel. A winner all the way around in my book, but I am a fan of the factory wheel anyway.

My avatar or profile picture shows them on my car.

Well the original tires were G70/14's. That equates to a 225/70/14. Jump to a 15" tire and you get a 235/60/15 or for a slightly narrower tire you can go with a 215/65/15.

Right on!
I've just been down this winding road so I know it well.

Here is a handy tire size guide to help you out, courtesy of the folks at BF Goodrich...

A great choice for 15" wheels!

what do you guys think of 235-60-15 all the way around on a 66 cutlass using SS1 rims.
Currently has 205-75-14
