If it is any help, I just bought a turnkey daily driver 1972 Olds Cutlass last fall for $3000. I put on tires, and plates, fixed the AC, and drive it a few times a week. I recently changed the tranny but that was MY fault that I burned it up....LOL

Needs floors, a little trunk work, windshield frame replaced. Could use a coat of paint too but what 35 year old street driven car doesn't??

And I feel I got one hell of a deal on mine.

IF YOU think it is worth it...then it is worth it. If you have questions, then maybe it is not in your ballpark or what you are comfortable spending or needing that much work.

Old cars are tricky.... but no matter what it will cost you $$$$ no matter what you pay for the shell, and you will probably NEVER get your return on it.
