"The" correct carb-ending 257 I think. Was heck to find but Norris Racing said it would effect everything they did if I didn't install the exact carb the engine was designed for.

Heat shield and brace. This replaces the bar brace. So that's what that hole in the side of the starter is for. The 72 AM shows this not the 71. Serious piece of steel

This is the original double snoot cleaner that was on it. And stripping the coats of paint off (gently) it was painted the same color as the engine. Some think it was a prant pulled by the guys on the line for the inspectors..I don't know

Plenty of pics for re-assembly. Funny though after 4 months I really remembered where almost evrything went and the correct screws. Can't remember where I sat my coffee though....

Norris Racing built my engine. This is the set up thats weights and removes metal to grams of weight to balance everything. Did pistons, rods and crank. Great guy Tim Noble. Blueprinted as blueprinted as you can get. They build some awsome engines.

Her new home for 3-4 months. After fitting and re-fitting and painting going to set engine, trans, and firewall items prior to putting the dog house back on for final paint.

Ought to be fun putting the motor brackets back on, can't wait. Would have been too easy to put on before all the other stuff.
