Getting ready to order

1970 - Cutlass Supreme convertible (442 Clone)
455 - stock suspension - front disk brakes

So when buying this car my plan was to get all the little things squared away and then order the new wheels/tires and be all set for the first cruise night of the spring.

I know I want Cragar SS wheels and i think 15x7 is the right choice for the look I want. I don't want to stray too far from stock but do want to fill up a little more of the wheel well.

So am I on the right track with this wheel ?

And for tires I was looking to go with something in the 255/60-15 range, I believe that was a recommendation by Joe_P in one thread.

Any and all opinions welcomed. Thanks in advance.

PS
Not opposed to other wheel choices if there is a better option fitment wise.

And a few pictures of what it looks like right now

FYI....the wheel you show has a 5x5 bolt circle. You will want a 5x4.75 bolt circle.

other than that the rim size and backspacing is good for 255 60r15's

That rim is right for your car. same size and backspacing as the 1985-87 442 rim. If you want to fill the rear wheel well even more go to a 15x8 on the rear with 4" to 4.5" backspacing. 255 rear, 245 fronts

My concern is ending up with an exaggerated look like this

No offense to whomever owns this car, it is just not the look for me.

I'm looking for something more subtle like this, and I think what you suggested would get me there.
