SS I Wheels

Has anyone got a source for new Oldsmobile SS I Wheels that actually has wheels in stock? I've been trying to get wheels since September. Every source I try, OPGI, Jegs, Summit, and Wheels Vintique are all on back order.

Thanks in advance!

I'm in the same boat. I also ordered them in September through Coker. Coker owns Wheel Vintiques, the manufacturer. I called WV on Wednesday and was told they are waiting on parts, the hoops, which should be in by the end of February. It is 6-8 weeks after that before they will be ready. Nothing anyone can do. Not good news but hopefully by May.

I have 5 14X6 original SS1 wheels in good shape. No rust but not real shiny.
Let me know if you are interested.

I appreciate the offer but I am looking for 15s as I intend to upgrade to Disc Brakes.

I had a set of 14" SS1 wheels re-hooped to 15" wheels by a company in California called Rally America.

The good thing about doing this is that the centers are factory, which to me is a better look than the reproductions.

No wheels yet and when I checked a couple of weeks ago, I was told it would be late June.

Has anyone considered using the Cragar Magnum 500s? Other than the centres, they seem to be fairly close to the Wheel Vintiques Olds SS1s. I imagine they are pricier. It seems the Wheel Vintiques SS1s are unobtainable with production dates that go on at ad nauseum.
