Tire Recommendation for Olds 1964 F85
I have a 64 Olds F85 2 door coupe with a GM A-Body disc brake conversion. I purchased 15x7 OE steel wheels with 4 ¾ back spacing. I have factory suspension in the front with no modifications.
I am interested in purchasing tires and am currently at a lost for what size will fit. I am particularly interested in a wider tire that will produce a more rounder side wall, however do NOT want any rubbing of the front tires. If at all possible, would like to stay with the same size tire all around the car, however am open to a staggered stands.
Can someone please share with me tire sizes that will safely work on my current set up without producing any rubbing of the front tires? Once again, I would like tires to be same size all around, however also would like recommendations on the staggered look as well. Also notice that a lot of people are running redline tires, can someone also make tire size recommendations on what redlines will work for my specs listed above.

How much are you going to drive it? If you want the look of Pinstripe White wall or Redstripe, I hook you up with F70-15 Polyglas. It would be a little taller, but would work well with the rims. My cell is 816-654-3400.

Are you sure about the 4.75" backspacing? That would imply about a 1" positive offset (tires moved inboard). Your car wants near zero offset wheels. For a 7" wide wheel, that would be about 3.75" backspace.
The original tires on your car were about 26" in diameter. A 235/60-15 tire would be just about the same O.D. and would fill the fenderwell nicely. You could even go 245/60-15 or 255/60-15 on the back if you wanted to.
