Looking for offset figure

Hi all,

I haven't found what I am looking for by using the search so I hope you guys can help me with this issue: Currently I am driving 215/75/14 on the SSI wheels but I would like to change the tires to 225/70/14 in order to get some BF Goodrich with white letters. So far so good.

Since I am living in Germany every safety-related change to the car needs to be signed off by our technical inspection association TUV. So in order to get their green light they want to know what the exact offset figure of the rims is. However, I couldn' find it anywhere on the rim, neither on the outside nor on the inside. Maybe I am just blind... Have you got a hint for me?

Put a straight egde across the diameter on the back of the rim going from bead to bead (NOT outer edge) and measure to the mounting surface where the rim will sit flush against your rotor/drum and that is your back spacing.

You won't find offset stamped on the rim because every single RWD car GM built through the early 1990s got zero or near zero offset. There was no need to call it out - everyone knew what it was. The only GM cars that got something other than zero offset were the FWD Toronado and ElDorado.
