Have SS1 wheels ever become available?

I was wanting to put the Magnum style wheels on my Vista cruiser when I converted to disc brakes, seems no one could get them so I went with Keystone Classics. I "think" I am happy with these, they have to grow on me I think.

Several vendors offer the SS1. Several vendors offer the center cap, retainer and lug nuts as well.

The Keystones don't look bad either.

I ordered the SS1's in January from both Summit and Jegs, they kept putting me off on shipping. The last e-mail that I got on them said shipping would be middle of June, I finally gave up and bought the Keystones. I was just wondering if they ever actually became available, I am keeping the Keystones either way.

I didn't realize they were still making Keystone Klassics. Where did you get yours ? I would like to think about getting a set for one of my "big Olds" cars.

I bought them from Summit, 15x7 about $200.00 each. I had them 2 days after ordering them. They are now made by Cragar.

Thank you !!!!!!! I have been away from car stuff for a long time and things have changed. I always liked the Keystone Klassics better than Cragar's. I appreciate the info. I will start budgeting for a set and check availability for 5" X 5 for my "big Oldsmobiles".

I've been waiting for SS1s since last September from Coker and my speed shop just emailed me yesterday, and said they will be here mid next week. Here's hoping. The backorders were to be completed by the end of June.

I had Keystone Klassics ( now made by Cragar), althought they looked cool, i got tired of them working nuts loose. After every longer drive, atleast one nut was started to loosen.
So i got rid of them. No more Unilug wheels to me anymore.

Those are pretty. I've been collecting parts so long for my not yet started 442 restoration that I have a couple sets of the 69 disc brake ones to use. It won't be a dragger though.

I did receive my SS1s in July, and inquired directly with Wheel Vintiques on November 15th about another set for one of my Cutlasses. The sales rep. indicated they have changed suppliers for either the centers or hoops, I forget which, and could not give me a date for purchasing these wheels. So, its 2017/18 all over again, anybody's guess. Amazing business, never knowing when parts come in, nor what to tell customers.

They sent me all 4 but one was a little damaged and asked me to send it back but didn’t tell me they didn’t have any more , I have not gotten any new back order notices so hopefully ships tomorrow like the last notice stated. If it doesn’t gonna ask to return them and go with the aluminum hurst wheels even though there is no 15x10

It took me forever to get my SSIs. I was looking on Wheel Vintique's website recently and they didn't have them listed. I wonder if the demand is so low that they will quit making them.

Wow, I had to look up uni-lug. That is a stupid design that I would never use.
