'69 H/O Original Spare Tire - Mount or Save?
I'll verify this tomorrow, but I believe I have the original spare tire for my '69 H/O.
If that is true, is it better to have it mounted onto a refurbished wheel (as a spare for car shows, etc.), or save it and mount a new (Goodyear Polyglas GT) tire on the spare wheel instead?
I have 5 new tires and 5 refurbished wheels.
Thanks.

This link (.PDF file) may assist you in identifying if the spare might be the original tire - in particular tires manufactured prior to 1980.

Fred,
I decided to have a new tire mounted on the 5th (spare) wheel, in case for some reason I'd need to use it on the car.
Saving the original spare, which is in great shape.
