1968 to 69 Conversion

I just bought a 68 Vista Cruiser, got a good car and a good price so I scooped it up. I realized today that the 69 fenders are identical, mine is damaged in the left front corner of the fender, and bumper, the grille has cracks, as well as the headlight area assembly.

I noticed I like a 69 Olds frontend better. What will be required besides the obvious, Hood, Bumper, and Grille that will need changed? I would assume the Radiator Support also?

Yes. Those are the parts. You should put a 70 OAI hood on it too.

Of course if it was me I'd leave it all 68

the fenders are NEARLY identical.

Look at the mounting of the hood hinge to the fender.

chrome trim at fender peak is typically 1-pc for 1969, 2-pc with a short die cast section at front for 1968.

Ok,
As for as the hoods once the front end is 69, will a 69-72 Hood all fit?

Those 442 Hoods look great, I don't like the prices I was seeing on them at all, I might stick to a flat hood for quite a while lol

I have gotten a 70 442 raised style hood. Not the rare expensive one but good enough, also scored a radiator support at a local old car junkyard. The dude I traded for on the hood has the hinges, bezels, and front bumper. Still looking for some fenders.
