Well, folks, know the chances are slim and probably none, but gonna' ask, ansyway.: Does ANYONE on CO happen to have a glove box locking mechanism for a '92 Custom Cruiser that isn't broken, for sale???? Of course, they aren't available from GM dealers, for the CC, or the B***k Roadmaster, of the C***y Caprice wagon. Red one would be great, or black, or any color - I'll paint it!!! Glove box won't stay closed, of course; therefore, to turn the little light in there off, have to use a tooth pick crammed along side the plunger.

I need a dash bezel for a 92 Custom Cruiser. I don't know if there is one or more pieces but it is missing from the right door to the left door.

Are you referring to the woodgrain portion of the dash? If so, I have one in good condition. If you are interested, I will PM you with more information.

It might have been woodgrain. The entire piece is missing.

I have a woodgrain face, and it is for sale if you are interested. It will require some skill to attach it to the interior colored part of the dash face. I do not know what color your interior is, but, depending on the color, I may be able to get some other dash faces complete. They are hard to find in complete condition, because the people who go to pick-n-pull junk yards tend to break them trying to get radios, or other parts out of the dash, and do not care about the next guy. The OCC parts in general are hard to find, and there were only about 11000 made in both years.

I do not have the red part of the dash. BTW, the color is dark maple red. Both of my wagon interiors are the same color as yours.

I will sell the woodgrain part for $40 shipped. Once you get it, and see what it requires to attach it, I can give you some pointers on how I would approach it. It requires that you remove the red part before trying to attach the woodgrain portion to it. There were originally pins that were heat welded into small holes. The pins are never there, because they break when someone pulls the woodgrain part off (the woodgrain part should be treated as one piece with the red part). There are a couple of approaches to reinstalling the woodgrain.
