Tailgate Power Window Motors

Does anybody know what power motors interchange for the rear window on a 66 F85 wagon? I'm assuming since GM used the same motors for front and rear windows on the left and right sides, they must have used one of those motors for the power rear window. But, since the only power window i have is the tailgate, I can't compare and prove my theory.

It has to be a tailgate motor.

Interchange follows:

1964-67 Buick Special (includes SportWagon)
1964-67 Chevelle
1964-67 Pontiac Tempest
1964-67 Olds F85 (includes VistaCrusier)
1964-67 Chevy II

1964 full size Olds, Pontiac and Buick wagons.

Henry

I think the tail gate motors are stronger because I put one in my wife's '68 car and the driver window moves a lot more quickly now...lefts and rights are different (like door handles) and the tail gate motor is the same style as the left door...

It looks like all the GM motors for 64-67 interchange, thanks Henry. Mine works pretty well, it goes up great. Sometimes it's a little slow at the start, coming down. I replaced the ground and power leads and that helped, but it seems that it doesn't have enough torque to overcome the friction of the weather seals at the top. I wonder if I can put some kind of conditioner on the seals?

I think you can get those motors, chebelle guys do, any place that carries Cardone should have rebuilts or be able to get one, may be a core charge.
Sometimes it's just not enough power when they go slow like that, power windows never work as well as they can unless the engine is running. Mine's a little slow at first too, seems like a lot of wagon power rear windows have to break free from that top seal initially and are slow going down?
Grounds are the other thing but you got that covered.
The down is the hard part for the motor becuse it's loading the regulator spring that helps the window go back up.
The tailgate window regulators do have springs?
I have manual and power tailgate window regulators sitting 30 feet from me and I'm too lazy to go look.
