1949 98 Fuse Box Location

Hey, where the heck is it? I've looked in all the obvious locations, but no luck. Any help appreciated.

Don't believe there is one,
I had a '49 76 model and if my memory is still good, almost all fuses were in-line. It was this way for several years into the fifty's before Olds located the fuses into a box under the dash. Others may know more, but that's what I remember. Been many years back when I had the '49.

That makes sense. There's not a whole lot of wires in this thing.

I think you will find a fuse on the headlight switch too.
