1957 Oldsmobile 98 question ?

I have a 1957 oldsmobile 98 and everything I have read said it came with 14in wheels ? But all the 57 oldsmobiles I see and look at have 15in wheels on them ? Was that by peoples choice or am I missing something ?

Original equipment for the 57 Oldamobile is 14" wheels but the upgrade to 15" is a popular choice because of the larger selection of tires for the 15" wheels.

Do you plan to restore your car as original as possible, or do you plan to modify it?

Citcapp, I like those wheels, are they Kelsy Hays?
FYI I understand BF Goodridge makes a 225x75x14 with a 26.5" OD, also for a price , one can engage Coker for some taller tires.

For ALL General info:
www.cokertire.com Nice but expensive.

Coopertire.com "Discoverer 225x70x14 whitewall 26.45 OD
BF Goodrich Radial 225x70x14 RWL 26.50 OD
These are the tallest radials I have found.
