Hood to cowl weatherstrip seal?
Can anyone tell me what they are using for a hood to cowl seal for the 46-48 Olds? I can't find anything online that resembles what I removed from my 47. Any pics?
I appreciate any help

No idea what that piece looks like, but see if this place has anything that would work:

If you are asking if I can post a picture of the weatherstrip I need I can't, as I have thrown what was left of mine away. It was all dried and brittle and just fell apart when I tried to remove it. I will recognize it when I see it, but can't help with a pic. Sorry

Russ means take a picture of where it goes on your car and that will help us find you a source for it.

I'm not sure about the older Oldsmobile years, but.. I took the hood to cowl weatherstripping off my 1976 Olds Cutlass to allow free flowing air through the top of my engine bay.
Does it help ??
I'm not sure , however, my mind tells me my engine bay is getting better air flow through the top than if I kept the weatherstripping in place.
Just my thoughts, I know it doesn't help with sourcing what your looking for.
Hopefully members with the early years will come through for you in your search !

Okay now I see it has built-in "plugs" every so far, to secure it to the panel. My only suggestion is that you may have to take a more generic weatherstrip with a similar profile, and 3M Super Weatherstrip it to the panel or, if remotely possible punch holes at the correct intervals and use some of those plastic push clips to secure it to the panel.
