1958 Factory Continental Kit?
Was a continental kit a factory option in 1958?

The 1958 Oldsmobile sales literature makes no mention of a continental kit . Neither does the parts catalog .
I think all continental kits were aftermarket , and that they were dealer installed , as far as Olds was concerned .
