58 Brake conversion

Hey guys. Has anyone done a brake conversion on a 58 Super 88? Is it a direct bolt on into the same location under the steering shaft? Where did you get it from? Was it difficult? Any help would be awesome.

Try Disk Brake Mike he has had inexpensive kits a viable for years . his personal car is a 57 converted.http://www.discbrakemike.com

Keep in mind that if you go to disks you will also have to change the master cylinder as the Tredle-Vac will not support a newer system. Also now (unless there is something new) your old wheels cannot be used with the new brakes, then of coarse your new wheels probably will not accept the old hubcaps. ... Things to ponder... Tedd
