55 olds paint

would you guys recommend sanding or stripping the orginial paint of my 55 olds. I have an epoxy floor and dont know if the stripping compund would take all of my epoxy off the floor or not but i can alway throw down some plastic. But what would you guys think of sanding that old paint and with it being a different kind of paint compared to what they use these days.

If it is the original paint, I would probably sand it with a dual action sander. Chemical stripping is nasty and has some nasty odors that can be harmful. It requires lots of ventilation. I have done a couple cars a long time ago but not long enough. You might look into soda blasting.
